A trio of FMs have spun out of the Galzxy orbit and are now officially in the ever-expanding portfolio of Educational Media Foundation. Broker John Pierce tells us that the 3.5M deal sending WBOE-FM an WOOB-FM in the Albany-Schenectady Troy market, along with WSCP-FM Syracuse to EMF is not closed. Pierce represented EMF, across the table from Bill Schutz who represented seller Galaxy. Pierce says EMF has been running the stations since February in an LMA.
