CMG Appoints A Jacksonville Radio Head

He joined Cox Media Group some 19 years ago as an account executive in Orlando, rising to Local Sales Manager at Country WWKA “K92” in Orlando and, later, to GSM and most recently Director of Sales.


Now, this company veteran is transferring to Jacksonville to oversee all of the company’s radio stations in the market.

Earning the promotion to VP/Market Manager, leading Top 40 WAPE-FM, News/Talk WOKV-FM, Classic Rock WJGL-FM “96.9 The Eagle,” Adult Contemporary WEZI “Easy 102.9” and Alternative WXXJ-FM is Jimmy Farrell.
