The “2008 CMT Music Awards” show airing live from Nashville on Monday, April 14th has landed music’s hottest father and daughter as hosts. Country audiences may be most familiar with Billy Ray Cyrus, but younger viewers will no doubt be tuning in for his daughter, Miley Cyrus. Along with hosting, the two will team up for a performance.
"Miley and I are so excited to be hosting the CMT Music Awards. We know it will be a fun-filled night with a lot of great music performances," said Billy Ray Cyrus in CMT’s announcement.
