Advertising guru Bob Coen delivers his twice-annual forecast today at the UBS 36th Annual Global Media and Communications Conference in New York. No doubt the final 2008 tally by the Sr. Vice President, Director of Forecasting, Magna, will be significantly lower than his June update, when he had sharply lowered his outlook for this year. Back then Coen’s first take on 2009 was to expect overall US ad growth of 3.1%. We would expect a very different view from Coen today.
