Comcast Closing Delay No Cause for Concern

DeadlineThe FCC decided recently that it needed to stop the 180-day shot clock in its review of the proposed merger between Comcast and Time Warner Cable and related spin-offs involving Charter. Analysts at Wells Fargo Securities do not see any major issues related to Comcast’s advisory that it expected to close later than it originally thought.


Significantly, WFS analyst Marci Ryvicker believes the shot clock stop in no way signals the FCC’s reluctance to disallow the merger.
