Comedies scored on Monday for CBS

CBS’s Monday comedies posted increases in key demographics versus their last first-run episodes opposite events and premieres on the competition, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Monday, Jan. 16.


HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (6.1/09, 10.12m) was first in adults 25-54 (5.0/11), adults 18-49 (4.4/11) and adults 18-34 (3.8/11).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 2, 2012), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/10), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/09) and +12% in adults 18-34 (from 3.4/10).  

2 BROKE GIRLS (6.7/10, 11.29m) was first in adults 25-54 (5.4/12), adults 18-49 (4.5/11) and adults 18-34 (3.4/11).  2 BROKE GIRLS built on its lead-in by +10% in households, +8% in adults 25-54, +2% in adults 18-49 and added +1.17m viewers (+12%). Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 2, 2012), 2 BROKE GIRLS was up +2% in adults 18-49 (from 4.4/10) and +3% in adults 18-34 (from 3.3/09). 

TWO AND A HALF MEN (7.8/11, 12.90m) was first in adults 25-54 (5.8/12), adults 18-49 (4.6/10) and adults 18-34 (2.9/07).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 2, 2012), TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +2% in adults 18-49 (from 4.5/10), +4% in adults 18-34 (from 2.8/08) and even in adults 25-54.

MIKE & MOLLY (6.8/10, 11.17m) was first in adults 25-54 (5.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 2, 2012), MIKE & MOLLY was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/10) and even in adults 18-49.

HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in households (6.5/10), viewers (10.50m), adults 25-54 (3.7/08) and adults 18-49 (2.8/07).   

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (11.08m), adults 25-54 (4.8/10) and adults 18-49 (3.8/09).
