On March 23, the Commission released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) that
proposed to streamline the process for reauthorizing television satellite stations when they are assigned or transferred in combination with their previously approved parent station.
The NPRM set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication in the Federal Register.
A summary of the NPRM was published Wednesday (4/11).
As such, comments must be submitted no later than May 11.
Reply comments must be submitted no later than May 29.
