Compass details Big Ten coverage

Compass Media Networks will air exclusive national radio coverage of the entire 2011 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament, beginning at 2:15pm ET on Thursday 3/10 through Sunday 3/13. The Tournament features three of the top ranked teams in the country with The AP ranking Ohio State #1, Purdue #6, Wisconsin #10.


Compass Media CEO Peter Kosann tells RBR-TVBR: “We remain focused on offering our affiliates access to the most compelling games available on the radio. The Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament is a wonderful example of this commitment. From the opening tip off to the cutting down of the championships nets, we will have complete and exclusive coverage of all these wonderful games.”

Affiliates airing the games include WFAN New York, KLAC Los Angeles, WPEN Philadelphia, KTCK Dallas, WTEM Washington, DC, WDFN Detroit, WQAM Miami, WKNR Cleveland, KFAN Minneapolis and WDAE in Tampa.

On-air talent will include studio host Tim Cates, play-by-play anchors Drew Bontadelli and Matt “Money” Smith, and color analysts Tim Hardaway and Mike Wozniak.
