Compass to air NCAA B-Ball beginning next season

Compass Media Networks announced expanded coverage of play-by-play sports with the addition of a full slate of NCAA men’s basketball regular season games, culminating in exclusive coverage of the first two rounds of The Big Ten Men’s Tournament in 2010 and exclusive coverage of the entire Big Ten Men’s  Tournament starting in 2011.


“With the continued growth of sports radio and the passion Americans have for college basketball, the decision to secure these rights was a slam-dunk,” said Peter Kosann, founder and CEO of Compass Media Networks.

“We look forward to working with Compass Media Networks for the upcoming season and many years to come,” said Scott Bailey, general manager for Big Ten Sports Properties.

“We will announce our full schedule of games within the next few months,” said Michelle Salvatore, general manager and executive producer of Compass Media Networks – Sports. “We will deliver to stations a full compliment of games from all regions of the country.”
