Comscore‘s comeback isn’t just limited to Wall Street.
On Wednesday, it revealed that it has a new agreement in place that allows it to provide a pair of TV stations in Iowa with measurement services.
Thanks to a freshly inked pact, Quincy Media’s KWWL-TV & KTIV-TV, NBC and The CW Network affiliates serving Cedar Rapids-Waterloo and Sioux City, Iowa, are now receiving Comscore viewer data.
“We are proud to welcome KWWL & KTIV to the Comscore family,” said Steve Walsh, Executive Vice President of Local Markets at Comscore. “With the expansion all major local broadcasters are using Comscore in both markets.”
The stations build on a relationship that saw WXOW-TV in LaCrosse, Wisc., sign on as an early Comscore client.
“The growing number of agencies, advertisers and local stations relying on Comscore as currency made the timing right for us to begin our partnership with Comscore,” said Jim McKernan, Regional Vice President for Quincy Media Inc. “We are excited to use the stable and reliable ratings from Comscore with our agency and advertiser partners.”
Comscore shares finished Wednesday’s trading at $4.73, up 2 cents.
It’s the company’s best finish on Wall Street since July 12.
