Comscore Stock Sinks Again, Following Big Q2 Revenue Miss

It’s been a brutal 2019 for Comscore, the audience measurement company that distributed a press release on Wednesday morning touting how it “continues to gain momentum and market share in local markets, signaling a broader shift in TV measurement.”


Then came confirmation of a partnership to deliver cross-platform branded content measurement with ListenFirst Media, a social media analytics company working with “big brands.” The deal is designed to boost Comscore’s Branded Content service.

Neither satisfied disgruntled investors who reviewed Comscore’s lackluster Q2 earnings scorecard late Tuesday.
