Conan to pay employees, too; Leno staffers laid off

Add Conan O’Brien to the list that includes Letterman in paying their non-writing staffers out of their own pockets/production companies while the WGA strike rages on. Meanwhile, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno staggers were laid off on Friday, as expected. Conan O’Brien will pay the salaries nearly 80 employees until further notice. Letterman’s Worldwide Pants is also paying staffers at The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
