A drop in the Conference board’s Consumer Confidence Index sent stock prices skidding on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 101 points, or 1%, to 10,282. Radio and TV stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.495, or 0.7%, to 215.834.
The TVBR Television Index was down 6.035, or 4%, to 143.368.
