Google TV Ads and SpotMixer are collaborating on a contest designed to show small businesses how easily they can create their own television commercials called “TV for All.” SpotMixer has the tools to do the creative, and entrants can try it out and post their results on YouTube. The winner will get $25K worth of national TV exposure of their ad courtesy of Google TV Ads. Companies must have 300 or fewer employees.
“Businesses first go to the ‘TV for All’ contest YouTube brand channel (www.youtube.com/tvforallcontest), where they will find step-by-step instructions for creating a video ad with SpotMixer,” explain the partners.
A panel of expert judges will select 10 finalists by mid October, and viewers will vote in a final three, all of which will win the $25K in TV ad time.
