Analysts and investors got the answer Tuesday morning, prior to an 11am Eastern earnings call featuring CEO Caroline Beasley and Beasley Media Group CFO Marie Tedesco: a sharp decline in commercial advertising heavily impacted Beasley’s bottom line, sending year-over-year net revenue down 54%.
But, like many companies, sequential month-to-month improvements are being seen. And, the eSports division is a catalyst for this growth.
