America’s undisputed cowboy chef Grady Spears takes to the airwaves on July 2 in the new RFD-TV program, “The Cowboys’ Kitchen.” Armed with charm, culinary creativity and the iconic Big Green Egg outdoor cooker, Spears will extend his love of the outdoors and hearty food to 40 million homes across the country.
A fan of meat-and-potatoes dishes, Spears specializes in hearty comfort foods. On the show, Spears will underscore the great Western spirit as he prepares signature recipes from his cookbooks and restaurant menus from the set of his outdoor kitchen. In true cowboy fashion, Spears’ kitchen is absent any form of electricity.
“Cowboy cooks and Big Green Egg share the trait of authenticity. When you cook in the great outdoors, you’re exposed. You have to rely on raw ability, great ingredients, creative recipes and the best cooker available,” says Grady Spears. “Big Green Egg is the real deal. The program’s signature cooker, Big Green Egg will sponsor “The Cowboys’ Kitchen” through an ad package that includes 30-second commercial placements and on-screen billboards during a 26-week period.
The Cowboy’s Kitchen airs Fridays on RFD-TV and RFDHD at 6:30 p.m. ET (repeat episodes air Sundays at 5 p.m. ET).
