Cox Communications announced that its HD cable customers now have free access to many of NBC’s shows anytime, On Demand, in high-definition. The service already included ABC, USA, AMC, TBS, TNT, We, Comedy Central, Disney and more – over 20 networks in all.

The new NBC HD content added to MyPrimetime in Cox’s On Demand library includes episodes of “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Community,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Mercy” and “Heroes.” In addition, Cox noted that it has also added NBC’s perennial favorite “Saturday Night Live” to the MyPrimetime lineup.

“MyPrimetime gives our customers anytime access to some of the season’s hottest programming in crystal clear HD, whenever they want it. Plus, the addition of Saturday Night Live to the MyPrimetime lineup ensures customers don’t miss any of the “water cooler” moments for which that show has become so famous,” said Chris Pantoya, Cox Vice President of Marketing.

To access the NBC programming in MyPrimetime, customers tune to the On DEMAND menu on channel 1 with their remote and select the MyPrimetime category. Programs are available starting the day after premiering on the network and are free to Cox Digital Cable customers. The service is available in the vast majority of Cox’s operations, with the remainder launching by early next year.
