Crime pays for CBS

At least, that’s the thinking at the Eye net. The network television premier of “Dexter” is set for Sunday, February 17 (10-11 pm ET/PT). The first show from the first season which aired on CBS Corporation-owned subscription channel Showtime introduces the audience to police blood spatter analyst Dexter Morgan (played by Michael C. Hall), who, when he is not solving murders, spends his time as a serial killer who eliminates those who do bad things. Dexter’s world is shaken when another serial killer, without his good intentions, commits a series of murders in Miami.


Just ahead of that (9-10 pm ET/PT) CBS will air an episode of “Cold Case,” previously scheduled for another date, in which a 17-year-old girl’s abusive father is, at first, the team’s primary suspect for her 1998 murder, but they soon discover that the victim ran off with a Neo-Nazi ex-con shortly before her slaying,
