A group of companies would like a sensible plan put into place for cross-ownership clusters currently operating under waivers — Cox Enterprises, Inc.; Calvary, Inc.; Bonneville International Corp.; Scranton Times LP; and Morris Communications have asked simply that the waivers remain in good standing until 90 days after there has been a definitive resolution to this interminable proceeding. The FCC – for the umpteenth time – has announced that it’s still considering the proposal, and will take another 60 days. So the waivers at least have that long.
RBR/TVBR observation: The odds are that 60 days from now we will be writing this exact same story – again.
