It’s certainly a new day at Cumulus Media: With 90 minutes left in the final trading session of August 2018, Cumulus shares have now climbed beyond $20.

As of 2:30pm Eastern Friday (8/31), CMLS was trading at $20.06, up 5.5% from Thursday’s close.

Indeed, volume is low at just 2,515 shares; average volume is 5,640 shares.

It’s good news for Cumulus, which started August 1 at $25 and quickly fell to $18.10 before bouncing up and down in the low $17-high $19 range all month.

The company’s shares are again trading on Nasdaq at the start of the month. Volume has been light since its much-heralded return to the index.
