Radio Disney is selling off another of its O&O AM stations, this time in the Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point NC market. The buyer for WCOG-AM will be North Carolina specialist Don Curtis and his Curtis Media. Disney filed to take the station silent back in late January.

According to brokers Bill Schutz and John Pierce, the price of the station is $350K cash. Schutz represented Disney; Pierce represented Curtis.

WCOG is a Class B operating on 1320 kHz with 5 kw-U, DA2.

It’ll be Curtis’ sixth station in the area. It already operates an AM News-Talk trimulcast consisting of WSJS-AM Greensboro, WSML-AM Graham and WMFR-AM High Point, along with Oldies-Beach WPCM-AM Burlington-Graham and FM Talker WZTK-FM Burlington.
