Eastern Airwaves, LLC, an affiliate of Curtis Media, Inc. has closed on the purchase of the construction permit for translator W226BV (93.1) Durham, NC from Community Public Radio, a Georgia not-for-profit. The purchase price is $130K. Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker representing the buyer in this transaction. Heymann tells RBR-TVBR: “This is a wonderful acquisition that complements Curtis Media’s stations in the Raleigh-Durham area.”
