WYBN-TV Albany, NY announced a special airing of this “D-Day Remembered”. June 6th 70 years ago, history marked an end to War & instability in Europe with the successful invasion of the Normandy beaches. This movie is a stark tribute to the bravery & grit of all those on the beaches.
WYBN is airing the show as an affiliate of Tuff TV based in Atlanta. D-Day Remembered – A one-hour TV special based on the book The Dead and Those About to Die D-Day: The Big Red One at Omaha Beach by John C. McManus. This show details firsthand accounts of D-Day, June 6, 1944, and the bloody battles that ensued 70 years ago. D-Day Remembered will air at 8:00 PM Eastern & Pacific on Friday, 6/6.
