FORT LAUDERDALE — The individual at Wells Fargo Securities who has the best Wall Street look on radio and TV companies trading on Wall Street will be providing the “Financial Outlook for Media” at a Media Financial Management Association (MFM) event scheduled for March 7-8 in Fort Lauderdale.

Flying to Broward County’s prime beachfront areas at the height of Spring Break is Davis Hebert, CFA, director and Senior High Yield Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities.

Hebert, who attended Radio’s Financial Summit: Forecast 2019 in New York, covers the media, cable, and telecommunications sectors. He will present an outlook similar to the one delivered in November 2018 at Forecast, focused on key trends shaping the advertising world, broadcast TV, radio and publishing.

“Attendees can expect to get a sense for how the markets, both equity and credit, are managing through a rising rate environment and uncertain economic expectations, the potential impact on industry consolidation, and how changing media consumption patterns could influence the top and bottom line,” MFM notes.

Hebert joined the High Yield Research team in 2007 and has been a member of the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed Income Research Team the past five years, most recently placing No. 1 in the Broadcasting & Publishing sector, No. 2 in Telecom Services and No. 3 in Cable & Satellite in the 2018 survey.

Before joining the group, he spent time in leveraged finance on loan underwriting and portfolio management functions for the media and telecom sectors and also has commercial banking experience.
