One of the nation’s top “sharks” will be participating in an in-depth chat with his mentor and a top marketing expert that promises to give Forecast 2018 attendees key insights and a fresh perspective on branding strategy.

Daymond John, the founder and CEO of hip-hop apparel company FUBU widely known for his role as an investment “shark” on the TV series Shark Tank, will sit down for an exclusive interview with Jay Abraham on Nov. 15 at Radio’s Financial Summit Forecast 2018, to be held at the tony Harvard Club in New York.

The annual “off the record” industry summit is the only conference of its kind in the radio industry, and gathers the top minds in broadcast and advertising to forecast trends, expectations, and revenues for the coming year.

John and Abraham will offer discussion that speaks to his vast role in small business, entrepreneurship, and branding, among other topics. Abraham is considered to be one of the world’s most successful marketing strategists and a master of revenue and performance enhancement and acceleration.

Abraham will share learning lessons and pitfalls based on his marketing expertise in a Forecast 2018 presentation scheduled for later in the day.

“We are extremely excited and fortunate to have Daymond John and Jay Abraham join us at Forecast this year,” said Deborah Parenti, publisher of Radio+Television Business Report, the official media partner of Forecast 2018. “Both gentlemen are enormously talented and highly successful marketing and branding experts. This interview will be an incredible opportunity for attendees to gain from their remarkable insights into these and other areas critical to developing and growing business.”

John was named a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship under the Obama Administration, which saw him travel to Kenya, Cuba, and throughout the U.S. to further the message of entrepreneurship.

This January, John will release Rise & Grind (Crown Publishing), the follow-up to his 2016 New York Times best-selling book, The Power of BrokeRise & Grind takes an up-close-and-personal look at the hard-charging routines of some of the greatest game changers who have risen to the challenges in their lives and careers, and grinded their way to the top of their respective fields.

Forecast 2018 marks the event’s 15th staging.
