The NAB Education Foundation is accepting applications for the 2016 Technology Apprenticeship Program until Jan. 8.
TAP exposes 10 recent technology-focused graduates and young professionals to the broadcast industry through a six-month, hands-on training program that includes a two-month internship.
In addition to the apprenticeship, TAP participants visit an industry manufacturer for training, learn about broadcast trends and network with potential employers at the spring NAB Show in Las Vegas. They have the option of becoming a Certified Broadcast Technologist.
The program ends with a week-long workshop at NAB headquarters in Washington, D.C. where participants prepare and host a Webcast on cloud-based broadcasting for industry professionals.
