SoldThe four station radio station cluster transaction has changed status from pending to consummated. According to the contract, the bulk of the purchase price went toward the associated real estate. Broker: Jason James, Patrick Communications.


The stations serve unrated Plainview TX. Lubbock, located to the south of the cluster, is the nearest rated territory.

$100K of the $450K purchase price went to station assets, with the remainder allocated to tower and real estate assets.

The stations in the cluster include:

KVOP-AM is a Class B News-Talker on 1090 kHz with 5 kW-D, 500 W-N, DA2. Out of the four stations, this one alone puts a primary contour over Lubbock to the south.

KREW-AM is a Class C Sports outlet on 1400 kHz with 1 kW-U, ND.

KRIA-FM is a Class C2 Rocker on 103.9 MHz with 25 kW @ 367’.

KKYN-FM is a Class C2 Country station on 106.9 MHz with 50 kW @ 469’.
