KIPA-AM Hilo, KBGX-FM Keeau and KKOA-FM Volcano are going to a new owner. Tom Troland's Skynet Hawaii LLC is spinning the stations to George W. Kimble and James Walker, operating under the name Mahalo Broadcasting LLC. According to Explorer Communications broker Jim Hoffman, who represented the seller, and Dick Kozack of Kozacko Media Services, who operated on the other side of the table for the buyer, the price is 2.1M. The stations are all playing ABC Radio Network fare, including respectively Standards, Oldies and Country.
