Denver deal comes to a close

The sale of a pair of FM stations in the Denver area is now official, and even as it went into the books as a done deal, another application was filed with the FCC sending it from one Douglas Moreland company to another.

The stations are KJAC-FM Timnath CO and KCUV-FM Greenwood Village CO. According to Media Services Group broker Jody McCoy, the price for the stations is $5M.

The seller was Timothy Brown’s NRC Broadcasting Inc. Moreland and his partners bought the station under the licensee name Moreland Properties LLC.

The new document just filed with the FCC transfers the station from Moreland Properties to Front Range Sports Network LLC, which simply assumes debt. Front Range is headed by Moreland and Tom Manoogian.
