Dial Global names format hosts

Dial GlobalDial Global announced new on-air lineups for its Hot Country, Hot AC, Mainstream Country, Adult Contemporary, and Rock 2.0 music formats. The changes impact immediately and include:


Hot Country – Ryan Fox’ “NOW with Ryan Fox” will air Monday-Saturday from 6am-10am, ET, on more than 100 affiliates across the country. Fox lands at Dial Global after a successful morning run at KKGO (Go Country 105), Los Angeles, and afternoons at KPLX, Dallas.  He replaces Jeff Young, who moves to nights on the Mainstream Country 24/7 format.

Hot AC – Award-winning Kansas City/Denver radio personality Blake Powers (The Wolf/KIMN, KTNI) will now be heard on over 100 affiliated radio stations in afternoon drive (3pm-7pm, ET) on Dial Global’s Hot AC Total and Hot AC Local.  Blake will be followed by Bernie Mack (7pm-12am, ET), who comes to Dial Global via KLUV, Dallas.

Adult Contemporary – The new, bright sound of Dial Global’s AC Total and AC Local formats, heard on more than 150 affiliates nationwide, now have a fresh-new line-up.  Chuck D kicks off morning drive (6am-10am, ET), followed by Cathy Taylor (10a-3pm, ET).  Michael Gifford moves from mornings to afternoon drive (3pm-7pm, ET), while Debbie Diaz takes on the night (7pm-12am, ET).

Chuck D (Chuck Woodford) had stints at KBCO, KXPK, and KTNI in Denver, while Cathy Taylor invested time at marquee stations in Tampa, Sarasota, Charleston, and Denver.  Michael Gifford segues to afternoons, a daypart he previously occupied during his 14-year run at KIMN, Denver. Debbie Diaz joins Dial Global AC with more than 20 years of experience, 17 of them as midday host at KLUV, Dallas.

Rock 2.0 – After a five-year run as Imaging Director and night personality on Denver’s KBPI, Eddie Barella moves to full-time midday (10a-3pm ET) on the nation’s premier Rock format upgrade, Rock 2.0.
