Dial Global will launch “Nudge At Night,” a live, interactive music show for CHR/Top 40 stations, featuring successful personality Nudge.  The five-hour program will launch in mid-October, and be live from 7pm-12M ET, and re-fed for all times zones.

“Nudge At Night” will be available to stations in Dial Global’s unique dual-syndication model: As part of the Hits Now! 24-hour CHR/Top40 format, or in stand-alone syndication.  The program will launch on the 10 Hits Now! stations plus a soon-to-be announced major market CHR outlet.

“Our Hits Now! format really hit a chord out there, and the market told us that they wanted a fun, energized night show,” commented Kirk Stirland, President of Dial Global’s programming division. “Nudge has proven talent, and delivers just what the market was looking for.”

Nudge is well known for his nightly show in Atlanta at STAR 94, and has also had successful programs at Y100 in Miami and at Q102 in his hometown of Philadelphia.  “Nudge At Night” will feature Nudge’s unique use of listeners’ calls, plus humor and high energy production, mixed with music compatible with CHR and Top 40 stations, as well as Hot ACs that are seeking a brighter night sound.“Nudge brings real firepower to a station that is looking to ignite their evening ratings,” commented Beau Phillips, Dial Global’s Executive Vice President of Programming.  Phillips says Dial Global’s CHR/Rock expert Steve Young will be involved in the project, as will Hits Now! program director Rob Archer.

“I’ve always wanted the chance to do what I love, and have it be accessible to the world, and now Dial Global has given me that opportunity,” says Nudge.  “This is what I’ve been waiting for.  We are totally reinventing nighttime radio and I can’t wait to bring it!”
