Ed Schultz has released his latest book, “Killer Politics: How Big Money and Bad Politics Are Destroying the Great American Middle Class,” published by Hyperion. In “Killer Politics,” Ed exposes the daily injustices that keep America’s middle class from thriving. Schultz explains that the richest among us are growing exponentially wealthier, while the rest struggle to bear the financial and emotional burdens of an increasingly broken system. As a result, the American dream has been eroded.

“From the beginning of his media career, Ed Schultz has stood up for America’s middle class, or as he puts it, ‘The guy that showers after work,’” says Amy Bolton, Senior VP, News & Talk, for Dial Global. “He possesses the rare ability to foretell the outcome of our collective political and social actions. And luckily for all of us, he brings concrete and common sense solutions for these ills.”

Ed’s latest book tackles major national issues, from outsourcing jobs and education to tax policy and health care. He outlines “Big Ed’s Four Pillars” that will rebuild a vibrant middle class. They are: 1) Defend the nation, 2) Establish a sound fiscal policy, 3) Feed the country, and 4) Educate the people.
