On June 1, 2016, John Dimick joined Cumulus Media as VP of Programming Operations.
Now, Dimick is having a senior moment.
The former Lincoln Financial Media SVP/Programming and Operations, an industry veteran, is being promoted to the newly created position of SVP of Programming Operations.
In his new role, Dimick will lead Cumulus’ team of VPs of Programming Operations, and 11 Format Specialists across the company. He reports to EVP/Content and Audience Brian Philips.
Dimick has over 30 years’ radio programming and operations experience and his resume includes stops at Emmis Communications and Lincoln predecessor Jefferson-Pilot Communications. He’s also been the Program Director of such stations as KPLZ-FM “Star 101.5” in Seattle, and at KISN-FM in Salt Lake City in the early 1990s.
