Satellite TV giant DirecTV announced that it is now offering local HD programming to customers in the Jackson, MS market.
Six local stations are now being offered in HD by the satellite service: WAPT (ABC), WJTV (CBS), WRBJ (CW), WDBD (Fox), WLBT (NBC) and WMPN (PBS).
DirecTV said it now offers local HD broadcast channels in 134 markets, representing more than 91% of US TV households.
