Disappointing Q4 a Drag on 2014 US Ad Spend


KantarThere were two factors that helped drive advertising growth in 2014: the mid-term elections and key sporting events. However, they did not add enough to the kitty to get the percentage increase up by a whole number.

According to Kantar Media, a 1.6% decrease in the fourth quarter added into what was a full year gain of 0.7% to $141.2 billion.
