Powered by the 2-part 3rd season finale of “Hannah Montana” and the record-setting Season 2 debut of “Sonny With a Chance,” TV’s Top 3 series telecasts, Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day in Tweens 9-14 (1.9 rating – tie) for the 2nd consecutive month. Impressively, posting its 13th straight month of year-to-year increases, March 10 wrapped as the net’s most-watched March on record in Total Viewers (1.6 million), Kids 6-11 (545,000) and Tweens 9-14 (455,000).

In Prime, Disney Channel was cable’s 2nd-most-watched network in Total Viewers (2.4 million), surpassing the next entertainment network, TNT (1.8 million), by a hefty 33%. In key kids, its dominance of all cable extended to 61 consecutive months in Kids 6-11 (978,000/4.0 rating) and to 60 straight months in Tweens 9-14 (797,000/3.3 rating).  The network posted its 12th straight month of year-to-year gains in Total Viewers and Kids 6-11.

Disney Channel delivered cable’s Top 3 scripted telecasts in Total Viewers with the 2-part Season 3 finale of “Hannah Montana” (7.6 million, 3/14/10 and 7.0 million, 3/7/10) and the record-setting Season 2 debut of “Sonny With A Chance” (6.3 million, 3/14/10).

In Tweens 9-14, Disney Channel also owned TV’s Top 3 scripted telecasts with the 2-part Season 3 finale of “Hannah Montana” (2.6 million/10.8 rating, 3/14/10 and 2.5 million/10.2 rating, 3/7/10) and the record-setting Season 2 premiere of “Sonny With A Chance” (1.6 million/6.8 rating, 3/14/10).

In Kids 6-11, Disney Channel was home to 3 of TV’s Top 4 scripted telecasts with “Hannah Montana’s” 2-part season 3 closer (No. 2 – 2.6 million/10.7 rating, 3/14/10; No. 3T – 2.5 million/10.3 rating, 3/7/10) and the record performance of “Sonny With A Chance’s” Season 2 premiere (No. 3T – 2.5 million/10.3 rating, 3/14/10).

“Phineas and Ferb” ranked as TV’s No. 1 animated series in Kids 6-11 (1.0 million/4.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (775,000/3.2 rating).

In Kids 2-5, a perennial Top 10 TV program among preschoolers, Playhouse Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” ranked No. 8 in the target Kids 2-5 (672,000/4.1 rating).
