Disney sells West Palm Beach radio station

WMNE-AM, serving the West Palm Beach market from its home in Riviera Beach FL, is getting a new owner. It’s going from Radio Disney Group to Travis Media LLC, headed by Bob Travis. Radio Disney’s president is Drew Korzeniewski. Media Services Group brokers Eddie Esserman and Bill Whitley handled the deal.

Despite Disney’s rightful place on the list of major media groups in America, this transaction is unlikely to set off any major repercussions on Wall Street. The price of the station is $500K cash.
