Pueblo Broadcasting Group LLC, headed by Diane Crist, is an eligible entity, with an owner who will add to the number of female FCC licensees and most importantly, qualifies as a very small business. PBG will be picking up KJQY-FM CP in Colorado City with that in mind, because they’ll need the FCC diversity waiver to extend construction time past the current 11/3/09 expiration date. Seller Steven R. Bartholomew stands to receive $85K for the station. Colorado City is about 25 miles south or Pueblo. The station will be a Class C1 with 100 kw and 541’ HAAT on 103.3 MHz.
