Dividend increase at SNI

Business is good at Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) – the company spun-off from E.W. Scripps in 2008 to operate the cable networks and certain online businesses. Shareholders are now going to be paid a bigger dividend.

The Board of Directors of SNI has approved a 33% increase in its quarterly dividend. That has boosted the quarterly payment from seven and a half cents per share to 10 cents.

The new dividend declared will be paid June 10th to shareholders of record on May 31st.
