St. Petersburg Beach, FL police are investigating an attack on WRBQ-FM Tampa-St. Pete DJ "Marvelous" Marvin Boone, possibly by someone hoping to disrupt the wedding reception he was preparing to spin records for. A man waiting outside the hotel punched Boone twice in the eye before fleeing in a pickup. A photo of the battered DJ is posted on the Tampa Tribune webside. And yes, he did go on and entertain at the reception.
