United Stations Radio Network host Lou Dobbs has not announced his candidacy for elective office of any kind. But his name has come up as a possible candidate in the state of New Jersey, and as a candidate for the President of the United States. Speculation lives because he hasn’t ruled anything out.
In an interview that will be in an upcoming issue of GQ, New York Post reports he states just that when asked about the presidency – he’s never said he will, nor has he said he won’t. He did offer that his wife is becoming more open to the idea.
Dobbs’ name came up earlier as a possible candidate to run against US Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who is up for re-election in 2012.
