Clear Channel’s AM 570 FOX Sports will air all 162 regular-season games during the 2012 season, as part of a multi-year contract with Clear Channel. The team previously flagshipped from Cumulus Media’s KABC-AM.

Plans have the team and KLAC partnering for at least seven Spring training games all potential postseason games on a fully integrated marketing campaign to promote the team on CC Radio stations.

Dodgers Chief Revenue Officer Michael Young says Clear Channel’s all-sports format [ vs. KABC’s Talk format ] will elevate the Dodgers in terms of coverage: “Through this strategic partnership, the Dodgers will now have the opportunity to connect with the millions of listeners that tune into Clear Channel’s wide-reaching AM and FM stations.”

Postgame DodgerTalk will broadcast for at least one hour after every game. An hour-long season countdown show will also air on Monday through Saturday at 7 p.m. PT from the start of Spring Training until Opening Day.

“The Dodgers are synonymous with Los Angeles,” said Greg Ashlock, president and market manager at Clear Channel Communications, who began his career in the Dodgers’ front office. “The team has the ability to connect people regardless of age, gender or race. Our Clear Channel stations have multi-demo and multi-cultural appeal that nicely complements the Dodgers’ brand and will provide unique marketing opportunities. We’re also humbled to have Vin Scully, the greatest play-by-play announcer — period — lead our broadcast team.”
