WFDF-AM’s days as a Radio Disney station are over. All the i’s have been dotted and t’s crossed on the deal sending the station to The Word Network. Brokers: Greg Guy, Patrick Communications (buyer), Bill Schutz, Schutz & Company (seller).
The station serves the Detroit market from its perch in Farmington Hills MI. It projects 50 kW during the day and 25 kW at night over 910 kHz.
The price was $3,000,000 cash.
The buyer is headed by CEO Kevin Adell.
To date, five Radio Disney stations have takers for a total deal value of $21,345. All five have been religious organizations, and only one of them – Salem – is a commercial operation.
The other announced deals are for stations in New York, Houston, Cleveland and Orlando.
