A deal for an intact superduopoly radio cluster in the Texas-Arkansas border-straddling Texarkana market has closed. Some of the principals of new owner Texarkana Radio Center have station interests in Alaska.
The stations are being sold by Ark-La Tex LLC and Jo-Al, Inc., owned by Soctt Gray and Donald Jack.
Roy Paschal, Jason Paschal and Richard Burns are the principals of the buyer – they have interests in Alaska Broadcasting Communications.
The price of the deal: $2.75M – including $2.25M in seller paper.
The stations: KTOY-FM, KBYB-FM, KCMC-AM/FM, and KTFS-AM/FM.
Sunbelt Media broker Bill Cate represented the seller, and Cliff Gardiner represented the buyer.
The deal was filed with the FCC 11/23/12.
