Jeff Warshaw has successfully brought his business in line with his upbringing after closing on a radio quartet in the Nassau-Suffolk market, according to brokerage Kalil & Co..

The stations include WHLI-AM/WKJY-FM Hempstead, WIGX-FM Smithtown and WBZO-FM Bay Shore, all in New York. The seller was Barnstable Corporation, and the price was $23M cash. Michael Bergner also served as broker.

Warshaw’s company is Connoisseur Media. “My parents are broadcasters, my uncle is a broadcaster. It’s in my blood,” said Warshaw. “Acquiring the Long Island stations is particularly exciting as I grew up listening to these stations and I’m thrilled that Connoisseur will now be operating them.”
