A pair of radio deals have made it to the finish line, with keys and funding packages exchanged.
In the Syracuse market, the deal sending WFBL(AM), WSEN(AM) and WSEN(FM) from Buckley Broadcasting to James V. Johnson’s Leatherstocking Media Group is closed, according to Dick Foreman of Richard A. Foreman Associates. The price was $2.1M. Foreman says that the buyer has an AM-FM combo not too far away in Oneida NY.
Meanwhile, Dudley Waller’s Waller Media has closed on its acquisition of a DIY FM project in Bullard TX from JER Licenses LLC, headed by Jon Robinson. According to Bill Whitley of Media Services Group, the price on this one is $500K. Bullard is in the Tyler-Longview TX market, where the buyer has several other stations.
