The deal sending KFON-AM Austin TX from Border Media Partners to Richard E. Oppenheimer’s REO Radio Group is now a matter of history. The station is being sold as BMP moves its remaining 22 stations to Border Media Business Trust, under W. Lawrence Patrick, Trustee. The same Patrick and his Patrick Communications brokered the $1.4M sale. REO will pair the station in the Austin market with KLGO-FM Thorndale TX.

Meanwhile, keys and compensation have been exchanged in the sale of WVVV-FM Williamstown WV. Seven Ranges Radio Co. acquired the station from Bennco Inc. According to George Reed and Bob Heymann of Media Services Group, the purchase price is $675K.
