“Thanks, Washington.”

Why would any radio station owner say that? The U.S. Department of Transportation invested a whole bunch of money into radio spots, according to Media Monitors’ just-released Spot Ten Radio chart for the week ending May 21.

In last week’s Media Monitors Radio Spot Ten report, the U.S. Department Of Transportation climbed all the way from No. 54 to No. 5, with 27,447 ads.

Meanwhile, Wells Fargo Bank debuted at No. 8 with 21,357 ads.
