The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 14,000 for the first time since 2/1, as financial stock gains were countered by losses in the tech sector. The Dow industrials advanced 47.46 points, or 0.3%, to close at 14,018.70, led by shares of Bank of America which closed up 3.3%. The index reached a five-year high of 14,038.97 during the session.
The RBR Radio Index was up 5.769, or 1.2%, to 489.643.
The TVBR Television Index was up 8.152, or 1.9%, to 439.626.
