Dow ends above 14,000 for 1st time since Oct. 2007

Stocks rallied Friday to cap a fifth week of gains that lifted the Dow Jones Industrial Average above 14,000 for the first time in five years after reports on jobs and manufacturing lifted Wall Street’s view of the economy. The Dow industrials rose 149.21 points, or 1.1%, to 14,009.79, giving it a weekly rise of 0.8%.


The RBR Radio Index was down 2.231, or .5%, to 478.971.

The TVBR Television Index was up 8.654, or 2.1%, to 423.627.
